【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구한의대학교가 2024년 진로교육 활성화에 기여한 공로로 교육부장관 표창을 수상했다고 3일 밝혔다.
진로탐색활동 협력 유공 표창은 진로체험 지원 및 활성화에 공적이 탁월한 자를 발굴해 표창을 수여하는 사업이다.
대구한의대는 학생들의 진로탐색활동 관련 규정개정, 운영 조직 및 인력 배치 등 인프라 구축, 체계적인 진로교육시스템을 마련해 학생들의 자율적이고 창의적인 진로탐색 기회를 제공하고 다양한 성장경로 구축을 지원했다.
또한 글로컬대학사업에 선정됨에 따라 AI기반 맞춤형 진로지도 시스템을 통한 전공적성 및 진로설계지원, 거주, 교육, 취·창업 활동이 가능한 개방형 RC교육 공간 조성 등으로 학생 취업을 지원할 계획이다.
김홍 진로취업처장은 “기린도전학기제, 워킹홀리데이, 고교 동아리지도 학생강사 파견 등과 같이 앞으로도 학생들이 주도적으로 진로 설계를 해나갈 수 있도록 좋은 프로그램을 개설·운영해 맞춤형 취업 지원 서비스를 제공하겠다”고 전했다.

Daegu Haany University has established infrastructure such as revising regulations related to students’ career exploration activities, operating organizations, and personnel assignments, and has established a systematic career education system to provide students with opportunities for autonomous and creative career exploration and support the establishment of various growth paths.
In addition, as it has been selected for the Global University Project, it plans to support student employment by providing support for major aptitude and career design through an AI-based customized career guidance system, and creating an open RC education space where residence, education, and employment/startup activities are possible.
Kim Hong, Director of the Career Development Center, said, “We will continue to provide customized employment support services by establishing and operating excellent programs that will allow students to proactively design their career paths, such as the Giraffe Challenge Semester, Working Holiday, and Dispatching Student Instructors for High School Club Guidance.”
